Israel was created after WWII as place for Jewish people displaced by the holocaust so Isreal is a Jewish state. The Jew fighting aren't Israeli? I'm not sure what you mean? The people currently living in Israel are descendents of the people who settled there after WWII (most anyway)

They're not ethnically from the area. They're European by blood. Not all of them of course. But they have no claim to the land. They're not from there. Their ancestors aren't from there. It's an ambiguous place for them.

the Israelites go back to 332 BCE in the Gaza Strip area...so yes they are from there.

what are you talking about? their people where from there (no it wasn't called Israel then), they were kicked out and went all over Europe, then the Holocaust happened and they all had no where to go so they created Israel, and went back to their "homeland" That's why it's such a hard issue both religions consider it their "homeland"

Also that was like 2400 years ago. Why can't I just go to Italy and be like Hey guys I'm just gonna set up camp here because my family lived here a mere 90 years ago.

but let's not forget that the Jewish religion is older than Islam and Christianity so the Jewish people were the 1st to live in the area and were chased out, the land has actully changed hands several time between Jews, Muslims, and Christians

It's not religion. It's power and money and property. It's human nature. We are a brutal, violent bunch. Many wars are fought in the name of religions, but it's not religion that causes it.
