I edited to add that we had been friends for six years before being in a relationship so we already knew once we got together that that was pretty much it. I mean... I give him credit for proposing at Disneyworld, he was just a nervous wreck

8 months, officially

In February it will be 9 years. He has never asked, I have never asked. Marriage doenst give us anything more then we already have.

6 month anni, 7 months together. lmao!

We were together 4 months when he proposed and a week later we were married. We celebrated our 4 years in August.

Give him a couple more years OP. Three years isn't a long time, plus you've had a baby recently.

We never really did the engaged thing. After about 6 years we started to talk about when we were going to get married, but he never actually asked me. We just planned it after I graduated college.

We got together when I was 15... he wanted to when I was 17...I said not now but later...so I guess we've been engaged for 4 years now...he got me a ring after we had been together for 4 years..he NEVER asked Will you marry me tho > ....and then my ring was stolen like a year after he gave it to me wahhhh

Shawn proposed 6 weeks after we met, and we got married 6 months later.

I was with my ex for 4+ years and he wouldnt even discuss the topic, so I figured it was time to move on. Best decision I ever made.

Im in the same boat now. We have been together 2 1/2 years and even though we talk about being married someday, I don't think its going to happen anytime soon. I asked him just recently if he was ever going to marry me and he said "yes, but Im not ready yet." Ummm, way to make me feel like crap babe, thanks!

It took my fiancé 7 months to ask me, even then, he didn't exactly ask me, he asked my dad and my dad asked me. I was pretty pissed, but he said my dad wasn't supposed to tell me.. But whatever. We got engaged on Halloween but won't get married for a couple of years  .

my husband asked me to marry him after 10 months of being together and he totally pulled the knocked up version of a proposal with no ring lol

I think he will be asking soon (: has been making comments about how he's got a surprise for me, saying im his soon to be wife, and asking me my ring size. We already have promise ring so im thinking its engagement ring (:
