I agree, I don't think it's trashy to go clubbing when pregnant. A car accident would be way more dangerous to an unborn baby than a possible fight somewhere near you, and yet I drive my car at least twice a day... does that make me trashy for going to work?? Lots of risks everywhere. You could step out the house and get hit by a bus. Also, if this person drinks a 6 pack between 9am and noon, that's a pathology, not a random act. You didn't know your friend was an unstable alcoholic before you left your children in her care? That was a risk on your part, IMO.

I would have went mental if someone thought it was OK to drink that much whilst looking after my children! Also, being in a smoke filled place isn't clever.
Why do people think it's OK to be around smoke when pregnant? IT ISN'T.
If she just wanted to go dancing then she could have chosen a more appropriate place to do so.
