Damn i was around smokers through my entire pregnancy,my son is just fine. Where i live you would get your ass beat,plus lemon juice poured into your gas tank for calling the cops over something so petty.

I wouldn't want a drunk chick babysitting my child! That's terrible! They are responsible for someone elses child! Obviously people on here wouldn't care if some drunk babysat their children. Clearly shows morals and parenting skills lol Don't listen to them. It's good to have high standards for who you let around your children! It shows that you CARE and LOVE them.

So, who's the idiot now? I'd say OP for letting her alcoholic friend babysit.

And no one said that they would be OK with having a drunk babysit their kids. HOWEVER, it was pointed out that if the girl completely fooled OP with her sobriety before leaving, and OP found the 6 pack later, then more than likely she was still sober enough to babysit. Not that anyone would WANT that, but that was how it worked.
