amoxicillin and childrens advil?

My 4-year-old is on Amoxicillin for tonsilitis. Can he take children's Advil at the same time? Drs office is busy and he has a bad headache. I feel like I have given him both in the past, but wanted to double check.

My son took amoxicillin & tylenol together. Im not sure about advil though.

yes it's fine. The ibuprofen ( advil) will also help with the swelling of the tonsils.
