My point was: it's better to be clear about what you want for the baby shower.. not anything to do with my husband or his thoughts, but other than the fact that we made it specifically clear that we wanted "no monkey" clothes, bedding etc..

I dont even call people "mexican" because here in TX some people do take offense to that.. especially if they are not from Mexico, but say somewhere in Latin America. It's better to avoid conflict... did yall not see all the Victoria Secret controversy? First with the Asian outfit, most recently with the Native American. You can't refer to other people of other races or ethnicities in any way that could even be perceived as derogatory so why not avoid it to begin w/?
