I'm pretty sure on the invitation I wrote that I wasn't expecting gifts, but if someone wanted to get something to please get it off one of the registries because those were the only things I needed. Everyone stuck to what I asked for. I also said no clothes because I already had enough. I think I got one Patriots uniform and that's it.
Be specific, it's not rude.
Family and friends want to get you what you will NEED. They want to be helpful ya know?

That's a great way to do it, I'm doing a gender revel, but all of my guests will know before hand. I have things if its another boy, but it Its a girl, I'm starting from scratch.

The gender reveal will be the shower, the person throwing the shower will know the gender before hand and let the guests know incase they choose to buy a gift.
