DH has bad bipolar, and has gotten verbally abusive.

Dh and I did one back in May. It went from Memorial Day to around our oldest sons birthday ( June 23rd).

He stayed somewhere else and I stayed here. We are still together.

We did. He came home after work almost everyday to see the kids for about an hour or so just to not confuse them as much. And no he didn't try it because he has issues with counseling he doesn't trust them from something that happened in his childhood.
