My LOs just got their own room yesterday. They share it but its their room. Before that they slept in mine and my fiance's room. My oldest (Lennon) would have slept amazing but I think my youngest (Aiden) isnt ready for his own room.. He went to bed at 9pm. Woke up at 1am and would not go back to sleep until 5am then woke up at 7am ready for the day.. Aiden is 1 yr and still wakes up at night but he was doing better only waking up once or twice. And Lennon usually sleeps right through it. But last night every time Aiden made a sound Lennon would wake up screaming. Lennon is 2 1/2. I only got about 3 hours of sleep and I have A LOT to do today... Im exhausted..
just needed to vent..

Question: how can I get Aiden to sleep through the night? He was a preemie (33 Weeks). But Lennon was a preemie (30 Weeks) and was sleeping through the night by 5 months.. Any advice would be great.

My daughter is 7 and still won't sleep in her room. I'm now pregnant with a 2nd. God help me. Why don't you try asking the boys if they want to change the room round. Ask them where they want to put there beds and there toys and help them. They may feel more comfy knowing that's what they wanted. It's sort of worked for my daughter and we do it once a month. X

Get an air mattress and sleep in their room, on the floor ,for the first few days. After they get comfy you can start to sneak out if the room in the middle of the night and then you will no longer need to sleep with them. Also a nightlight & "protection" teddy will help them too.

Nightlight and Teddies are a check. I will definitely try sleeping in there with them though. We have a couch in there so I could sleep on that   great idea! Thanks!

My son started sleeping in his own room when he was 4 but i would have to leave tv on, now he sleeps great with out it he's 6 but maybe that will help, also i dont know if they are drinking regular milk but my sons dr told me that warm milk before bed time helps them sleep better.
