15 month speech question

LO is 15 months and I'm trying to get an idea of if his speech is on track or not. I know every kid is different.. just, analyzing. Lol.

He can say a few things. He's not putting words together or anything like that. He doesn't talk much though that are actual words. Here's a few things he can say

Mom
Daddy
Yeah
Pop
Nan
Mmm!
Good
Teddy
Hi/Hey

I try to talk to him a lot so, hopefully I'm helping him along. How much can/could your 15 month old say?

Yeah. I just had no idea how much he should be saying, he doesn't talk a whole lot. He's doing a lot of sounds these days.

i think if the pedi isn't concerned then there's no issue. mine was a little worried about carson at his 2 year check up, but 4 months later he just started putting words together and making more sense. now he doesn't shut up, he could talk to himself all day lol

It sounds good to me, at that age dd said like 2 words. She started speaking more around 17 months and now at 18 months she says about 40 words... Most aren't clear, but it's such an improvement. Everyone told me to wait for the language explosion, it really did happen what seemed like overnight.
