Having polyp removed, and becoming pregnant

If you have had a polyp removed from your uterus.... how long afterwards did it take you to get pregnant?

I'd check with your doctor but from my knowledge it is usually 3 months to heal with small removals (6+ months is it is big surgery for big removals like fibroids/after giving birth).

I had a fibroid removed from my uterus, which is similar, and I got preggo like 6 months later.... But I wasn't actively trying in those 6 mos. It just happened. But i do believe you should wait at least 3 months before even trying.

  I was hoping we'd be able to go back to TTC right away. My doctor was pretty vague about it all on the phone. I'm waiting on a call from my gyno to make a follow up appointment. So I guess I will ask him then. I have no idea how big it is. My doctor just said I had a "possible polyp" in my uterus. By the sounds of it they aren't 100% sure it is a polyp. I'm hoping it is, because if it isn't, it could be something more serious. I just want another baby now. lol

Hi, I'm on that same boat. My Dr. founda polyp in my uterus and said I should have it removed if I want to get pregnant. My procedure is scheduled for the 25th of Feb. I was wondering how it all went for you?
