Call his class tutor and his boss and explain - I'm sure they will be helpful and not penalize him for missing school and work (he can't help being in the hospital).

I'm so sorry this is happening - nobody needs this kind of hurt, especially with kids. I hope he comes round soon and things get a lot better for you all

I'm going to call tomorrow and try to get a hold of the director. I'd hate for him to loose his scholarship for missing one class. :/

not being able to be with him has got to be so tough, for starters. but then also being hurt about what is going on, well, I hope you are okay. while you may not be with him right now, you are already trying to help him by addressing the school/scholarship issue. I hope you can find someone, or even a drop-in childcare place, to watch your LO for even an hour tomorrow so that you can be with him if you can.

I hope he's okay and starts responding, I can't imagine how you're feeling.
I also hope what he was keeping from you is nothing too serious and you two can get through it. I'm here if you need to talk.
