I must have missread I thought you said you found a bump but have not gotten in to the dr yet and they were going to see you tomorrow. I am glad its all going to be ok

It can't be prevented. His skin isn't retractable so if bacteria get in there, you aren't able to clean it out. It's not like he sits in poopy diapers. I'm with him 24/7 I see him poop and change it as soon as he is done. He is just really sensitive to pressure on it. But he is still playing normal. He's on the Motrin and anti-biotic.

I am asking because my LO is intact but my SO is not so I want to make sure we can prevent this from happaning.

My LO skin dose pull back a little the DR said it is not very common.

I figured that's why I took time to explain. That's our family too. So I didn't understand how it was so deep, but it's cuz the foreskin pocket is open till further down the shaft than I thought. I thought it closed off after the head. Look up how to properly clean. Someone will have to teach him eventually. And from what I am told they are supposed to make themselves erect so the skin can be fully pulled back. I know a man who wasn't cleaning his properly. He just didn't know how he got a horrible infection and had to have surgery.
