What IS this?!

I am on my phone so I can't actually post the picture :/

These red spots are not raised. He has no fever. Acting normal. The bath isn't helping. I discovered them about 30 mins ago and so far no change.

My son will be 2 in one week. He hasn't eaten anything new, same old laundry detergent, fresh bedding as of yesterday... I don't know what this could be! Google is not helping. I was about to put him to bed, but maybe it's worth an ER trip???

have no clue what it is but if it was my child i would try benadryl and wait an hour if no change then go to the ER

I might be completely wrong but it sorta looks like ring worm to me.

If it were me, i'd probably try benedryl and watch him and take him to the DR in the morning.

Nah, ringworm is raised off of the skin and looks obviously fungal. It'll have dried moldish think line that goes in a semi circle or full circle with red around it. I'd try benadryl and cortisone cream first then go if not better by morning.

Kind of what I was thinking! maybe if he gets a fever by morning it might be a better indicator.

not even close...Ring worm is little bumps that form a ring, and are raised...but good try   and usually only ring...and they are like almost perfect circles...i had that once got it from working at ruby tuesdays in the matts in the kitchen while cleaning them   sooo yucky no more ruby tuesdays for me!

Yes, how much does he weigh? It's important to remember that rashes like that can be caused by all sorts of things, especially viruses, even small ones, so don't freak out yet. Wait, try the above mentioned options and if he gets sick or it doesn't get better by tomorrow, call his Pedi or take him into a Urgent Care/ Walk in Clinic.
