Csection then vaginal *poll*
posted 14th Nov
I had a vaginal delivery with my daughter. It went very smoothly. With my son I had to have a csection because his heart rate was dropping... I do NOT want another csection & I know that my doctor will let me try to have the baby without a csection. He says that the way I was cut before will make the risk go down. I just wanna know the risk & how likely is it that even if I try to have a vag. birth will I end up having to have a csection anyway.

Well since you have had a vaginal birth before it is less likely that you will fail by a lot.

There is more risk with a repeat c section!
This is a FACT
Google ICAN.com (international cesearen awareness network)
Find a group! They have a lot. Mny women with kids just hanging out, discussing birth at a coffee house. Does it get better?
Probably, but candle light dinner with DH is NOT on google

I'm going for a second c-section. my body just doens't do what it should. I dont' want to go through hours of labor just to end up with a c-section. plus my recovery was was easier than all my friends who have had vag births. idk maybe I'm just weird. My mother in law had a normal birth with her daughter and then dh was a c-section, she too said the c-section was easier.

I had both a c-section (breech baby) with my first and a vaginal delivery with my second child. I recovered really quick from both with minimal pain.
Obviously the vaginal delivery was faster healing (I was ok and back to normal after a few hours), with the c-section it took me at least two to four days to get over that weird feeling where the cut was, but I was up and walking around that same day.
I guess it just depends on your body and how well it recovers, everyone is different. Good luck with either decision.

I recovered super fast with my vag. birth but with my son it rook weeks to fully recover. I guess everyone is different
