Using a surrogate for convenience.

If you had the money, would you use a surrogate for convenience? Just because you didn't want to gain the weight, your job doesn't allowed pregnancy, for really whatever reason.

If you say the mother is selfish, why?

Sure why not? It's not selfish persay, more shallow. You are paying the woman carrying the child, so you are helping her out as well... so sure.

No. I would want to carry my own child. And yes I do think it's selfish. I can't imagine someone who wouldn't want the experience of watching/feeling ER baby grow inside of her choosing her babies needs above her own wants. Not saying it couldn't happens, jmo.

i wouldnt do it but i would be down to be a surrogate. unfortunately SO has already ruled that out.

Not selfish. No one is really being hurt. A surrogate is being compensating and not forced, the child isn't really at risk. I wouldn't do it personally, because I'd find it a waste of money and I'd miss out on an experience. I have no problems with a woman who'd want to though,.

I wouldn't do it. Not if i could do it myself.

Why would it be selfish? Two consenting adults decide to have a child and aren't hurting anyone...

I want to. Hubs an I want another child, and in trying my hardest to get over the traumatic birth I had with my son. But if I can we will be looking into having a surrogate. I don't think it's selfish at all, for any reason. Some people want to have children but just can't go through the carrying and birthing process.

& along with my above comment, I REALLY wouldn't if it was even an option. It was more of like a "LOL" joke.
I don't want anymore children. But somebody could seriously pay me to have a child for them, I would hop on that band wagon.
