MIL

hey guys i need your help i feel my mother and father inlaw are trying to take over our life. today my MIL came in to our house (we live across the road) and said im taking her the 25th and i said why? she got snarky at me and i said i want to know where MY daughter is going. i dont think that is to much to ask for. and i also told her i do not want my father in law around my daughter i think that hurt her feelings but he drinks all night and i am not liking it any more. we got in a huge fight with them because we "use" them when we lend them money we help them do anything they ask and i snapped i am so tired of being the bad guys and my husbands brother being perfect. we are going to be looking for a new place in town here that is not within walking distance. and just me my husband and my daughter. have any of you other moms had problems with the MIL thinking she can do what ever with your kid?

Yep.
My MIL said she was taking my DD to Greenville (a couple cities away)
and I said why? And she wouldn't tell me so I told her she wasn't taking her anywhere. It's my job as a mother to know who my daughter is around and where she is.

She got over it though.

Yep mine tells me what I "want" to do with my kids and tells me im a bad mother for not doing it her way... She cries and makes my husband feel bad for her and he goes off on me ughhhhh....

my father inlaw is always saying like things when he comes and knocks social services and oh they dont feed you or they beat you things along that lines so yesterday i said enough is enough and if they dont respect that than i dont think they need to see her.

and its eve worse becuase we live right across the road from them

Nope. We live 30 miles away and we constantly get into it with his mother mainly. We don't do something right or we don't do that right. For example: one day she called and said she was coming to get my girls for a haircut I told her no my daughters weren't getting their haircut what so ever! She called my DH and said those babies are going blind with their bangs!!! Mind you I just went an had their bangs trimmed 3 days prior. He laughed and said ok mom then call CPS because my daughters are blind due to their hair and let me know what they say.

I do my girls heads every 2days so their hair stays put their face and she complains I need to get them bangs so its not in their face which to me doesnt make sense because I put it all back in cool designs and bangs just hang their I dont want my kids hair cut period because I was raised for little girls to have long hair and she has even said that their long hair looks slutty and I need to cut it and calls my husband and says I agreed to let her take them to have it cut while I was at school the next day but he knew it wasnt true
