Well, it's just not taught. I can bring up Kentucky standards for Social Studies right now... we teach about democracy (comparing it to America) and monarchy (comparing it to England).

No it isn't taught, but I think people should go out and research it. Which sadly isn't the case. Most American's just don't care about the Country and what is going on in it. And I was that way until recently. And it is sad, but I was very uneducated. But it is something that isn't re talked about, but only every 4 years , and even then people just go with the flow and get false information.
