Work is your "Away from Baby Time".
& Your Away From Work Time is Baby Time.
Especially as they Get Older, Meals together. Work & School are your only things that Interfere with Sit Down at the Table Meals together.
Your Child Helps with Doing the Hand-wash dishes(yes there will be a lot of Broken ones at first)
Baking(No-Bake baking at first.) Make Cookies, Chocolates, things like that. They can Help measure Pour & Stir things not on the Stove to start. Learn the Craft of Hand Making Bread. They can help with almost ALL of it!
In Winter, Go Sledding, make snowmen, Snowball fights.
Take Long Walks.
Drive them to as many of their Extra-Curricular actives as you can.
Take a Picture a Week of the 2 of you. Take Several the same time. You both In PJ's. You Both All Super Dressed Up. You Both in Your Everyday clothes. Take a Picture of them Every-time you change their clothes, Especially if it's a new outfit they haven't worn before!
Literally if You are not at work Every Second is spent with/around them. No Matter what Time it is when you get off work, Pick them up from the Sitters. Things like that.
I'm basing this on What My Mom did with Me, having Freedom of Not having to Share me with Anyone else. Truly Single Mom, doing it Completely on her own, No Dad on the Scene. Ohh But she did have some Family who would look after me once in a while. Mainly when she was Working or had a Dr.'s Appointment, something where she really felt she couldn't take me. For the Most part the first 5 years of My Life, other than when she went to work, if I couldn't Go, neither Could She.
