Since when is the president the one that decides what is Constitutional? I thought that was the job of the Judicial Branch and not the Executive?

Isn't the judicial branch the ones who are supposed to decide what is constitutional and what isn't?

this doesnt make sense to me either. I was taught that the legislative branch makes rules, the president approves then the judicial decides if they are constitutional or not? that is kinda scary. guess its time to start praying even harder for our country!

I read that translated as the President is saying "I Have Told the Congress that I will not read into these things that I can or should make these things stop me from Putting something I think needs looking at in front of them."

Not that "I will push it Through Come Hell or High Water, Congress Be Damned!"

To me he's saying "I'm not going to let My Being President Stop me from Putting forward things I think should be Put forward." not "I AM GOD! and What I say Goes, GOES! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

The main thing is to read the bill that I posted from the White House website. The State of the Union Address is very dry and I'm not going to sit through the whole thing again to find the line that I need to. I only watch C-Span to go to sleep.

lol. ok. first off, I just want to know, do you just google to try and find dirt on President Obama cuz this was almost from a year ago. lol I'm talking about the transcript from the white house. Second, all I'm seeing him say is that the legislature that is was trying to be passed by Congress interfered the constitutional boundries of power and some of the provisions of the law interferes with his constitutional responsibility as comander in chief. So I really dont know where you're getting at. Maybe you should stay more awake on C-Span. Fox and those other biased media companies are poison.

Nope. I'm going through and reading all of the executive orders signed by Obama since he took office and that one stuck out at me. Yep, I'm going through all 900 and have been for the past few weeks. After finished the Affordable Care Act, I wanted to get more information on all the scary crap he does everyday when he's not on the golf course.
