For me it would be. I would love to adopt but couldn't stand putting up a baby for adoption. Going through the entire pregnancy, spending money on the labor, probably getting C-section in case of multiples, only to give it to someone else would be way too hard for me.

Yes I do remember that and if I recall it was late term and they took the wrong twin and then both died. Sad.

That's what I thought too. I'd probably only let them implant 2. If they split and I had 2 sets of twins, fine. I could probably deal with that. I'd just make a lot of friends who were really clucky and they could help me look after them

They wasn't saying that.... They were just curious how you'd pick which ones to adopt.

I'm not saying abortion is a bad option. I'm just surprised how the adoption part is being treated like I would be picking a puppy from a litter. It's stupid.

I just personally couldn't do it, having gone through a miscarriage and that tore me apart. I'd feel too guilty. Anyone else, sure, no problem.

I would only keep the cute ones.

That's fine that you would do adoption. I think people are sincerely curious how you would choose who to adopt out and who to keep.

Most people who end up with extreme multiples have IUI not IVF. Their ovaries hyperstim and end up releasing a lot of eggs. So it's not like they choose to have 6 embryos implanted. Also I would reduce anything more than triplets. I'm an L&D nurse and see multiples problems all the time and I would not go through that.

Probably. I don't want 6 more kids! 2-3 would be my max.

This. I wouldn't have them put that many embryos inside me to have to face the risk of them all developing.

Yes I would reduce.

Mainly because 6 kids would be hard to handle for me mentally and financially.

For starters, I would only have two implanted.. the chances of both eggs spilting in 3 would be beyond slim. If i still got pregnant with 6, I would give them all the best chance I could. I could never pick and choose which of my babies live and which ones die. I would not reduce.
