ttc,hpt question

So I've posted a couple of times on here but me and my fiance are ttc and I took a test today one of the CVS brand ones with the + line in the positive window,I followed the instructions like it said and I sat it and watched the screens as the " fluid" passed through them and as soon as it hit the positive window a line showed up that is not a control line and then disappeared as the control lines showed up what does this mean? I've used these before and this has never happened before

Sounds like a negative to me. Sometimes it takes a bit for the dye to finish moving across the window. I personally would just retest because that's how i handle any questions about hpt.  

The urine shows where the antibody strips are because it's a change in colour but once it soaks in and either doesn't contain HCG or even just doesn't contain enough HCG it continues to the control line and doesn't get colour.



That being said, I had that happen the other day with a test but it was the day before I got a faint positive. I did think I was getting another moment of seeing the antibody strip but it got slightly darker and then stayed. I retested 2 days later and got definite lines and its been getting darker since! I can't tell you that it'll be the same case for you but here's hoping  

The funny thing is it had completely moved across the screen,my last af visit was weird I'm not due for my ad for another two weeks or so but I'm having a lot of symptoms I cry for no reason and my chest it sore but not tender to the touch I cant stand to wear a bra and I cried last night cause they hurt so bad lol but I have bloating and I feel preggers I know women in my family have had probs with hpt and oh there was kind of a faint line that stuck around but disappeared when it first showed up it was kinda dark,I wish I was more dpo

Perhaps you should go to a doctor and ask for a blood test? Explain your symptoms and that your family have a history of late positives on pregnancy tests and that should convince them  

I think ill make an appt with my obgyn but my last af was almost a week early but I know its normal to experience that sometimes,keeping toes and fingers crossed
