Alyssa comes up to me and says, "Mommy you're fired."

So I respond with, "Why am I fired?"

"Because you didn't cook my lunch yet."

Back story on the "You're fired" comment.

I jokingly tell DH he is fired if something has been forgotten. He says it to me too.
