Seems many people are confused on who actually won. Who do you think won the popular vote?

Obama won both the Popular Vote and the Elector Vote.

I think so many are confused because by, I believe 11 pm - 12am, Romney was ahead. I went to bed with Romney winning popular, but I found out on Wednesday afternoon that Obama actually took popular vote.

Eh, popular vote doesn't matter anyhow. I think we all knew Obama was going to win before the election even happened.

DH and I were just talking about this, that things wouldn't have changed if it was by popular vote because Obama got that too, not by a whole lot, but still had it.

It really doesn't, but I believe a lot of misinformed Romney supporters are using popular vote as a leg to stand on in their argument that Obama shouldn't have won. Mainly with this seceding bullsmurf that's going on right now that is clogging up my live feed, lol.

That's not what the secession stuff is about (all 50 states have a petition now). It's more of an "I'm tired of this. The federal government is getting too big."

It's how conservatives/libertarians announce their dislike of something. They threaten to secede. Liberals threaten to move to Canada or France or some fou-fou country.

That may have been the intentions of the people who originally started the petitions, but it has turned into a lot of uninformed people jumping on the band wagon and calling "foul" because the majority of people support Romney.

Nope. He got 2%. That's why I'm so butthurt!

But anyone can start a petition for any state. We dont know if its the same people starting petitions for all of them. Like anyone is gonna seceede anyway.
