Tooth Pulpotomy question

I had a pulpotomy done yesterday and today my tooth hurts like hell. So much pain. Moreso than before the pulpotomy.

Is this normal? How long with this pain last? Tylenol isn't touching it and I'm about to dip into my supply of Vicodin

I know that you are asking this for yourself, but my son had 2 of those done on his 2 front teeth and they told me to call if there was any pain or discomfort. I would call the dentist to be on the safe side.

They told me that if I go back, they'll have to pull it  

My son had those done about 2 years ago. He just turned 6 and he had to have both of them pulled because their was an abscess growing between his crowns and his permanent teeth. The dentist told me it is just better to get a root canal and a crown. I hope that isnt the case for you. Good luck

You mean you had the nerve yanked?

3-4 days for me, Tylenol only helped in 600mg-800mg doses, the max dose per day of Tylenomal is 3200mg, so I stayed within that limit, but yeah, I took big doses.
