Toe nails don't grow?

Aria's going to be 12 weeks Sunday, and her toe nails haven't grown at all since birth. I've had to cut/file her finger nails several times, but I tried cutting her toes only once and there just isn't anything to cut. Is this normal? I forgot to bring it up to her pedi at her 2 month well baby, and I don't know if it's worth calling the office or not? I just think it's really strange, like the nails don't stick out at all, they're just on the toes. But don't hang off her toes, if that description makes any sense at all.

fingernails grow 2-3 times as fast as toenails. my son is 5 months and ive had to trim his toenails once and his fingernails every week

I didn't have to trim DD's until she was about 6 months old. I think it's pretty normal.

Oh wow, okay. I feel better. I just wasn't sure, I know finger nails grow faster but it seems like such a long time. But I guess it's a good thing, lol I get so nervous cutting her teeny nails anyway.

I think I've clipped my one year old's toenails 3 times.  

I used to trim DS's nails every week during the first year, but his toenails rarely needed to be trimmed. Now at almost 3 I still trim his finger nails every week, but his toe nails only need to be trimmed maybe once a month.

That makes me feel better. I guess I'll just be thankful I have one less thing to worry about clipping her on for now. Haha.

I clipped her the other day on accident on her finger and I cried   SO panicked and got her a bandaid. Lol it was more like I chopped her arm off the way we reacted. But I felt so bad.

aww=( I did that when his fingernails were still coming in but growing over his fingers like curling down. I felt bad but he didnt cry

Lucky baby. Lol she was eating and I tried to do it while she was latched on, on the arm that was facing up. It was easy with the first 4 nails but the last I clipped her and she immediately stopped eating and screamed   That was the biggest reason I cried. So we both sat there and cuddled and cried. Lol SO looked at me like I just killed her though. I haven't cut her nails since, in 2 weeks and they're so long she's scratching her face :/ I'm scared to try again though lol.
