re: how long???

My SO talked to his boss last week and she's going to try to get him a week off, but it will be unpayed.

My SO is an independent contractor so he can have any many days off as he wants really (he just won't get paid). But that wouldn't be smart at all. I'm hoping he will take at least 2 days off.

It was suppose to be unpaid and he was taking a week. BUT they have given him 2 new crews to manage and so many jobs with crazy deadlines that he can't take the week without falling behind... I'm fine with him working soon after just wasn't sure if I needed help for my 17m old of there were restrictions to lifting and such... I may invest in a little step ladder/stool for her. I'm suppose to deliver natural but prepare for anything I guess

Honestly, i was more than ready for Dh to go back to work by the time the 2 week period was over. lol   I had a c-section last time. I got lucky and had a pretty easy recovery. Lifting wasn't a big deal.
