Darn lab results

I had some lab work done yesterday and you wanna know what bothers me... They told me they would call if my results were abnormal and if they don't call that means they are normal... I just wish they could call me and let me know either way...

Oh I hate that too. Personally I'd call in a week if I hadn't heard. I have Kaiser insurance and they put 90% of my lab results on the website I can access, so I can see when they're done and what they are.

Of course, sometimes that sucks because I don't have a Dr explaining them to me, haha

you should call anyways.

I woukd call anyways, just wait a few days before callin them.

with kaiser you can call the number you use to make appointments and there is an option for test results. it will tell you either abnormal or normal.

Kaiser Permanente? (sp?) I had them, that must be pretty new though. It use to just be good ol "if you don't hear from us, you're ok" lol

Op, I use to hate it too. I have Tricare now and they do the same. But at least they give me a time frame. (usually a week) so I feel better. Lol

They've had it for a few years. You have to sign up on their website (kp.org) and then most of the results will post on the site. You can also email your Dr, make appointments, all that sort of sutff. I LOVE it.

I haven't had it since 09 and my doc never mentioned it. But that's awesome!
