Baby Trend strollers

posted 14th Nov
I am looking at the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Double Stroller and the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Plus Double Stroller and the only difference I can find between them is the price, which isn't that much. Does anyone know what the differences are between the two, am I just being stupid and can't see it?

The Plus can be like a regular double stroller, the sit and stand just has a bench in the back.

Ok let me elaborate. The Plus can hold 2 carseats, one carseat and one toddler, two toddlers, OR you can convert it to the sit n stand.

Me too. I was looking at the Joovy cause I wanted a stroller that will fit my Evenflo carseat, but I really liked that the Baby Trend has the option of have a seat to strap DS into or a sit and stand option, instead of just the sit and stand like the Joovy.

they're cheap. cheaply made. uncomfortable. break easily. you couldnt pay me to use a baby trend stroller, caresat, anything.. but if you like it buy it, lot of people do... i understand not everyone can splurge on baby equipment

I was going to get it until I realized the handles on Baby Trend seats have to be all the way down and they wont be able to in my car so I decided to go with Graco.
I'm getting the Snugride 30 and the Graco Quattro Tour Duo. I've found a few on Craigslist for $80-$100 barely used!!

you might want to try one out before buying. they're awful, and heavy. i know i just said i wouldnt buy a baby trend, but i wouldnt buy a graco stroller either. graco infant car seat, yes. stroller no. what is your budget? i have a few awesome strollers that accommodate 2 kids. then can be turned back to a single

first is my bumbleride queen b w/ toddler seat.

bugaboo cameleon w/ skate board for my daughter to ride on.

i tried out a side by side graco ipo (i believe) that smurfed was so cheap feeling ($200 too!!!) and hard to push and my kids were tiny (5 pound newborn, and 24 pound 2 year old)

What is your suggestion? I love the baby trend jogger at BRU and I have to get a jogger.

Those are wayyyy too expensive lol. I'm trying to stay cheap with the stroller, and hopefully buying one for around $100 off Craigslist. The carseat I'm obv. willing to pay more for because it's a safety thing.

I also don't really need one to be turned back to a single because I'm going to be trying to get pregnant again a few months after this baby is born lol

I have a Safety 1st single jogging stroller and it's not a bad weight but it steers like Smurf so that's one brand I'll never go back to.

I have a jogger now, and it is just WAY too much work pushing that thing while running. When I was still running(before morning sickness set in bad) I was just dropping my son off an hour early at daycare and running before work.
