Egg Donation

I am going to be donating my eggs to my sister soon since she has been unable to conceive through 6 IVF cycles using her own eggs and I am wondering if there would be any residual effects of the fertility drugs that I would be taking. I'm assuming I'd be taking menotropins to increase the amount of eggs they can harvest from me. Does this medication leave my system quickly or will it increase my fertility for a month or so afterwards? Anyone with any experience with donating eggs would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'm honestly not sure never done it. If I was you I'd write down a list of things you want know and when you go to the doctor I would ask him everything you want know. That way you know what going happen , what to expect, and what to avoid.

You may have some pain and/or discomfort in the days after egg retrieval but the stims will not affect your fertility for future cycles. Good luck!
