Baby Shower

im sooo not the type of person that likes people to do things for me. i started to plan my own baby shower then SO's mom and sister took over . its in 10 days and im like spazing out about it. i have no idea about anything about it. i know his moms is doing the food and his sister is doing everything else. im not even sure what kind of food there making. SO keeps telling me not to worry about it , that they have everything ready and taken care of.. i still cant help but think about ti and wonder. what if i dont like it! or they get the colors wrong! i need someone to smack me in the face right now and tell me to stop being so OCD about it. its eating my brain!!

it doesn't matter what the colors r or even if u don't like it. U need to be thankful they r doing it for u. Point blank

stop.. it's fine... my baby shower was this past weekend... the whole point is not the decor or the food.. it's that everyone has fun celebrating the upcoming arrival of your baby.. that you share this special day with the people you care about.. and hopefully you get lots of things you dont have to buy yourself.. . it's all about the baby..

LOL like they are going to throw an UGLY shower? Lol it will be ok. I wasn't part of my last shower and won't be part of this one probably. I can't let little things get to me.

I think it's nice they are at least throwing you one. No one ever volunteered to do mine so I just did them both myself. In our famiky, we have one for every kid, it's not about the gifts but an excuse for all of us to get together again. I wish someone was thoughtful enough to throw me one, though I'm very difficult to satisfy and would much ratger organize things myself.

it will be ok some people dont get it and some are right just relax as best u can try to enjoy theres nothing u can do about it now its ur time to enjoy if ur worryed about the food make a couple things ur self and bring it to the shower but make sure u tell them what ur makeing just tell them u need to do it it will make u feel better if u bring a couple things dont make more than 2-3 things u could offend them if u bring more i suggest dips and crackers or bannana bread and butter or the punch nothing that over shines there stuff u could also go early to help put up decorations if they let u tell them u

I have to do my own because the people who said they were going to, probably aren't... but I just want a party, don't really care about gifts... my husband and I bought everything ourself... I still need a few little items though.
