quick TTC OPK question for a friend.

my friend is TTC, she ovulated and took OPKs to pin point ovulation, had a postive OPK for 2 days, and then they slowly faded. She took one everyday and they were faint Test lines, meaning she isnt ovulating.. but today her test line is positive. she even sent me a picture and it looks pretty damn close to positive and she said she is 10 or 11dpo.
she took a pregnancy test a day or so ago and it was negative, but so was the OPK. what are the chances that her OPK is darkening because of pregnancy?? is it normal for a OPK to go from positive...to negative...to positive again before AF starts??

She is running out to the store and getting a test and coming over later on. but we are both curious. TIA

From what I've read on google it's very likely. I've heard of girls on here having it happen to them and theyw eren't pregnant though.

you sometimes get a surge before AF starts.
OPK for pregnancy tests are really unreliable. It's better to stick to pregnancy tests so you don't get your hopes up.

thanks. its her first time using OPKs. since im TTC a surrogate baby anymore i dont need them and gave them to her.

i know when i was pregnant with Eli, my OPKS stayed dark but not positive until i got a BFP so i really cant help her thanks though. she should be here this afternoon and i will update

you meand dark but not as dark as the control line right? or am I confused..

right.. its just barely lighter than the control line, but DARK..darker then the OPKs she has taken everyday day for week now..

i have a pic, the test is a little dry in the picture but i think its still legit, with other OPKs to compare.
