i went to the doctor this morning and i did my weekly nst well you could hear her heartbeat just fine but she wasnt moving, she mostly moves at night. so now i have to go to the hospital this afternoon for an ultrasound. did anyone else have this problem and should i be worried? she was moving a little bit this morning but like i said she mostly moves at night especially when i lay down for bed.

My boy is a lot more active in the afternoon, evening and over night hours as well. The morning time movement isn't that frequent.
I am sure all is well but I'm glad they are being proactive about it.

yes but they do them in the office if they need to they also have a buzzer thing to wake them up with.

I have had the opposite problem at one of my NST's I was on the monitors for almost 2 hours because my DD wouldn't stop moving long enough for them to catch what they needed to on the NST. If they were really concerned they probably wouldn't have you wait until later this afternoon for the ultrasound. All they do with the ultrasound is check baby out and look at the blood flow through the cord it's pretty fast and simple. For some reason the results from the ultrasound are good for a week while the NST's are only good for a few days. I have NST's twice a week and an ultrasound to check fluid level once a week. This week though I have a growth ultrasound instead of just a fluid check because of other issues. I'm sure everything is fine some babies just don't care if they get buzzed or if you move like they want you to babies want to do their own thing lol. My DD doesn't like being poked and prodded at by all that stuff so she kicks as it constantly. Ultrasounds are the worst when the tech pushes on the want way harder then they need to it makes her super mad so she moves around and kicks the wand lol.,

I'm 32 weeks and my baby girl moves mainly at night as well. I fel a few kicks during the day, but between 9 at night and 5am is when she is most active. I've read this is because your movements and voice during the day lull the baby to sleep so she wakes up when you are still and quiet. It doesn't help much for sleeping, but it's totally normal, don't stress!!
