True Labor or...

Braxton Hicks? Ever since 9:50 this morning contractions have been coming every 4-5 minutes. Then at 11 I had two that came 7 minutes apart then right back to them being 4-5 minutes apart. Does it sound like Braxton Hicks or maybe the real deal?

could b real my first i started at 3 pm 5 min apart and around 11pm they got a little closer and stronger then at 1 am bam massive pain .. i thought the same thing JUST BRAXTON HICKS AGAIN... but i was wrong i knew once they got stronger

My real contractions were all over the place in time.. lol.

On that note, keep timing them, call your OB/midwife, see if they want you to be checked

The same thing happened to me from the time I was 35 weeks all the way up until I was induced at 40+ weeks. Mine would come every 4 minutes for about 2 hours then just completely stop. I called my dr so much. It was very frustrating!

Do they get worse when you change positions or walk around? Have you tried drinking water, taking a warm shower? Real contractions will get closer and closer..and the pain will worsen.

When I start moving around they do feel worse. I'm trying to just lay on my side and drink water. They still come. They started early early this morning every 7-10 min apart but I could sleep through them. Woke up feeling pretty intense ones around 9:30. Maybe I'll try a warm shower when LO goes down for a nap.

I'll just keep timing them and see what happens

When I had my baby, they were like that, started at 5am....just keep timing them and wait it out. If it is real, they will stay consistent and come closer together. I went to the hospital at 11pm and 5cm, and had him at 6am  

Eh with my second my BH contractions would come for days at regular intervals. My doc kept telling me that I'll know it's true labor because they get worse. Sure enough, the night I went into labor they got pretty nasty over the span of about 3-4 hours. Nothing I did made them better and the contractions just got more intense.

Also, go for a long walk!! That helped me a lot....I was walking uphills though. If you want your baby soon, that is.

That's what I'm thinking!! lol. I had my bloody show earlier today but contractions haven't progressed at all. I have an appointment tomorrow morning, so we'll see if I progressed at all or what my doctor says

We're about to go for a walk right now lol 3 cm dilated   Hopefully I go into labor before Sunday because Mon-Wed my doctor is on vacation.
