I can't remember if caffeine is safe while nursing. I drank it while nursing and I don't think it affected DS at all. "lol It was a huge struggle at first I was grouchy and had headaches but its getting easier, I look at it as my treat for the week, I have heart palpitations and was advised to cut out caffiene completely but I can't do that lol
