Opk and pregnancy

If you're already pregnant, would an opk be positive? Trying to make sense of what is going on with my cycles...I'm currently pregnant, but not sure when I conceived. I had a super dark/ positive opk on oct 11rh and oct 12th, then the opk's I took in the days following were negative, so I assumed I had my surge on the 12th. Wasn't trying to get pregnant, took plan b oct 13th, and ended up with a bfp on October 26th (when I expected AF to start). So either plan b didn't work or I got pregnant before the 12th...but then why would I get an obviously positive opk and see them fade thereafter (IF indeed I did get pregnant before my LH surge on the 12th)?

Yes, it should be positive. The hormones are almost identical, except when you're pregnant, hcg has a little extra bit in it. So it would still show positive on the OPK. But you should take a pregnancy test, because they'll show but can't be accurately used to predict pregnancy.

Ive taken pregnancy tests. It's been confirmed. I was just confused as to why the opk would fade then once it was positive (if I was pregnant before I took the opk's)..

she is pregnant already.. just trying to figure out if she ovulated or took an OPK when she was pregnnat..

i seriously think that if you were in fact pregnant when you took the OPK it would stay positive and not fade out Im thinking plan b failed? or maybe it took longer for baby to implant to by the time it made it to the uterus the plan b already lost effectiveness? idk girl.. despite everything i really hope you see a little HB flicker later today. ya never know, God works in mysterious ways as im sure you already know. I think it failed too...my gut feeling. At first I was ok with miscarrying, but it hasn't happened yet, although I've had on and off light bleeding. Now I find myself obsessing over seeing a hb. Probably not the best time for a baby right now, but it's sad to think about miscarriage. I've had a blighted ovum before and a chemical pregnancy, but those didn't seem as real to me because a baby never formed. God does work in mysterious ways....we shall see. Maybe there's something better in store for me if this doesn't work out..
