Hard to cut my (ASD) sons hair

My son has autism and I can not get my son to let me cut his hair, hes afriad of scissors and the clippers? any ideas

it wont lemme post a pic or id show how long it is

Why not just let him grow it out? my son has hair down to his shoulder blades.

Or would distracting him with a movie or craft help at all?

I havent seen it in a long time but you may be able to find it on google.. there's a comb that has a dial to adjust the guard & you just comb the hair normally the blade is inside & cuts as you comb. Wish i knew what it was called.. ill try to find it..

My son was the same way so we just let it grow. At this point, I like his long hair so I don't really plan to cut it......although it is getting REALLY long so we may have to trim it at some point.

Is there a tv show he likes or does he like to use electronics like an ipad? maybe you can distract him?

if all else fails, just let it go for now......

No problem. Hopefully this will work better. Even if you want it to grow out you can use these to trim it with out the noise or scary looking scissors.
