Resume Advice...

So I've been teaching (preschool) for the past 7 years and I want to apply for a receptionist job... how do I go about doing that if I have no experience? Should I put my job experience with the preschools I have worked at or no?

Do you type at all on the computer? Do you know Excell, Word etc? If so then list that you have experience with those.

In your cover letter write about your transferable skills that you have experienced in and how you could use them in the new position.

its time consuming....but once you rock it out, you have a cover letter and resume that you can use over and over by just changing a bit to apply it to each job you apply for
