How long

is it from the time LO starts teething until the tooth comes out? LO has been teething for a few weeks now. She puts anything and everything in her mouth and chews on it. She's also pretty drooly. But there's still no real sign of a teeth when I try to feel for it. She's 5 months 10 days old.

In my experience, it can be anywhere from one day to several months. Generally it's a few days to a couple of weeks from hard teething onset (which could be represented by fever and significant pain).
Drooling isn't really hard teething, though. My almost 5 month old has been drooling for several weeks now. No sign of a tooth. Which is fine with me, nobody should have teeth before they actually need to chew. One of my children developed teeth at 4.5 months. It was challenging to teach him not to bite.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I'm not in a rush for her to get teeth. I fear for my nipples haha.

my son will be 4 months friday and he has been chewing and drooling for about a week and a half and his first tooth broke through a little bit yesterday...we just noticed the tooth the day before...it happened really fast in my opinion
