Ready to feed formula vs. concentrate

LO can't take the powder. We switched to the ready to feed similac sensitive, and he did great. We decided to try the concentrate to save some money, and used nursery water to mix. Now LO is gassy and constipated. Is there really a difference between the concentrate and RTF? The nutritionist says there isn't a difference, but obviously there is some difference because LO is acting much different.

Someone said to switch to Gerber soothe, but nervous to switch. Has anyone tried it?

OP - They're the same.

Watch out for Gerber soothe, DS has stomach issues (gas and such) and it gave him REALLY bad diarrhea...that and Enfamil Gentlease.

I can only give a suggestion that it's the nursery water you are using. I tried to use it with my son when he was a baby and he had the same trouble as your little one. Maybe you should try just regular drinking water you buy at the store. Nursery water has lots of "extras" in it that babies don't need, just a thought. I used spring water with the rest of my kids and never had gas trouble with them again. Good luck
