weight vs. clothes size 145-150lbs

posted 14th Nov
so i'm trying to just see as a general idea. i have been wearing size 14 in womens or 15's if i attempted juniors and XL's in shirts. well now that i've lost some weight over the past few months, my pants that i have normally worn for years are too big, i have some 12's that my aunt gave me but they seem too small? what gives? i feel like i'm swimming in 14's they fall off my waist off my hips and practically showing my ass when i walk if i don't hold them or wear a belt but in 12's i can barely button it but the legs and butt area is still so saggy i look like i have "no assatall syndrom" lol... the pants my aunt gave me are a completely different brand then what i was wearing, could that be it?

so anyways if you are around 148lbs to 152lbs what size do you wear? i am 5'3" its been since 6years ago when i was gaining weight from my first pregnancy since weighed this much! so i'm confused, and obviously i was in maternity clothes then so i have no clue what the typical size is

I must have a weird body type. Before pregnancy I got up to 145 and I'm 5'4, and I wore a 4 or 5.

Don't they make size 11?

It's probably the different brand. You might just have to go and try on different brands to see what fits

I'm 140 and I wear a size 10. A lot of it depends on brands. For me Old Navy runs big where Levi's run small. I'm also only 5'2.

your probably carrying more weight around your midsection than your hips/butt/thighs. I have this problem right now

When I weighed 153, I was 5'4 and I wore a size 7 -9 depending on the brand.

wow! i'm totally suprised by the variety! i realized that there would be a little differences but wow... i guess i need to go "window shopping" and try on a few and just see, and perhaps atleast get me 1 pair of pants to use when i'm not at work, at work i wear a belt so i can wait a little while longer of swimming in those pants... lol.... i don't want to throw down a whole lot of money on clothes now because i'm not done losing weight

its not odd at all, sounds like you are certainly more proportionate than I am... lol... i've noticed even more than before i lost the weight, that my waist is truly the cause for a larger size, i can tell thats definately getting smaller, but not as fast as i'm losing my butt!!! grrr

Awww
I have been told I have an hourglass shape.
My pants usually have to be a bit bigger for my hips/thighs but are always loose at the waist.
I lost my butt when I was pregnant with T. Apparently it's back now   lol
I have a great idea, we'll share! lol

Wow...that's nuts...where do you carry your weight? I must have a bigger bottom half because I weigh 140lbs and am in a size 10 and it's a little tight sometimes.

I actually have a huge ass so I have no clue how it works out like that lol. Maybe my waist is just smaller so it makes it work? I have no clue
