No more TTC
posted 14th Nov
Well after going in to have surgery to remove my right ovary but ended up only removing the cyst. I find out that I only have half of my uterus and I didn't miscarry on the 29th of September and it was ectopic and still in my tube. So now I have been told it will be almost impossible to have a baby.

I am so very, very sorry. One piece of advice, don't ever give up hope, but on the same note, don't let the hope be the only thing keeping you alive.
I say that because my Sister has PCOS and had to have an ovary removed. She was also told she could not have children. But I have a beautiful 11 year old Niece

Your doctor shouldn't have told you that.
Women have babies with one tube all the time, some women naturally have one tube blocked and still have babies.
You also have the option of fertility treatments and they can bypass your tubes all together

My mom had a wall separate her uterus (???) and she still had 2 more babies after that

Don't give up hope. They told my mom she would never have another baby. She too had one ovary plus other issues. It took her 4 years of TTC, but HERE I am

I lost my right ovary and tube, and went on to have my son, so don't lose hope mamma!
And I'm sorry you went through that, people don't understand how traumatic that is until they do.

I have a friend who has 1 ovary - 2 babies. I also have another friend who had a wall seperating her uterus, she had surgery and a little bit of help, and a few years of trying, and she now has a baby and is pregnant again.
Wishing you all the best!
