Leaky diapers

My son is in size 4 pampers cruisers and they leak so bad at night. I tried buying luvs in size five to maybe see if it was the size that was causing it but those leaked too. Should I do ahead and spend the extra money for the pampers extra protection for bed time? Do those work for any of your lo's?! I'm just getting so aggravated with him waking up at all times of the night of morning DRENCHED in pee  

Any advice?

Go up a size in the kind he normally uses.

DD is only 20lbs right now and I just switched to size 5 because she was soaking the 4's. I don't think they'll be too big.
