First post Mirena period

Jesus smurf, are they all this heavy?! I've NEVER bled this much in my life. I've soaked through 3 super tampons and 2 overnight pads in the past 18 hours. None of it looks old though, it's dark but bright red and it literally turns my toilet water pink when I go.

Judging by what a few other ladies on here have said about it, yeah it's normal.

Yeah, my period's were hellish when i had Mirena in, ended up taking it out before the year was up cos of it.

I hope it regulates for you though! Cos it can get rough  

It's a super pad an hour when it's really bad.   Im on an induced period from provera right now and I'm going through a pad/tampon combo every two hours. Wahhhh.  

And my bowl is literately RED. Oozing. I want your periods dude.

I bled non stop for 6 months.

I bled like crazy at first for about a week. I wasn't used to that cuz I never bled more than 3 days.. But then I never bled again when I had it. Then I took it out.
