posted 14th Nov
At around 25 weeks I had y ultra sound, at this ultra sound I was told I was having a baby girl. every appointment since then my babies heart rate has been in the 120-130s. is the old wives tale true about girld being in 150-160 and BOYS in 130s?? Im 31 weeks pregnant now, and i am worried we are getting all this girl stuff.... :s

I've heard the opposite...just keep all of the reciepts. My aunt was convinced her son was a girl...she painted his room pink.

I wouldn't go by any wives tale. I'd go by your u/s before anything else.

I've always heard it opposite -- boys higher, girls lower. Which has been true for everyone I know so far

Heart rate is meaningless in telling gender. My son consistently was in what was considered the girl range.

heart rate does not determine gender, I have never even seen a pattern in it.

You can't determine gender based upon the heart rate. That's a myth and has no scientific proof at all.

When my mom was pregnant with me and my sister she was convinced we were boys because our heart rates were low 130's. We are 100% for sure girls. With my baby now, her heart rate is in the 150's. So i wouldn't go with wives tales in my opinion

Right,, boys higher is what i heard, but with having a Boy its plain to see.any type of "figure" you see in between those legs, its a Boy. This is my third go round and as soon as they said here are the legs, a nice little flap was inbetween. I said it before she did.
