So I'm sure you all have heard of the name La-a. You know, the urban legend name that everyone "knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who has this name".
Well, I was talking with my mother today. Her job position includes approving plans for foster children who are adopted. Well, she said to me, "How would you pronounce the name A-a" and I said "Ay-uh?" Apparently, she and her colleague had to make a phone call to the mother regarding a child with this name and they didn't know how to pronounce it and kept trying and the mother said "It's A dash a."
WTF. It may not be La-a but it's damn close and it really does exist!

I love the name. One of the people that helped me the most when I was in the hospital's last name was Knox. Though I hated my time in there and don't want to remember it I love the name Knox. Only thing bad is Angelina Jolie's son's name is Knox
