I totally just read your profile and noticed he has two first names.   My son is Alistair. I want an Alistair, Cillian, and a Persephone.

I'm sorry, but i don't think there should be grounds for suing a hospital when they are doing their job. This whole "birth rape" bull smurf is just another way for women to complain that their birth didn't go their way. awww I got an enema.. I got a episiodomy that saved be from being ripped from clip to smurf and now I'm going to whine about it and try to make money. Why? because I can throw the word rape around.

pull up the big girl panties and get over it.

Now, IF what ever this algid "Rape" was has caused you any physical damage that will cause you issues down the road, AND you can prove that if this supposed "rape" did not happen, you would not have had the same injury. THEN you can sue for malpractice. However, the hospital staff did not rape you. stop being overly dramatic to get attention.

Did you read her birth story? I thought this too but figured she would just get all up set and throw a fit so I didn't say it lol. Slight decreased in FHR are normal but if it is a late decelerations (decrease in FHR occurs after the peak of the contraction) that last for 30+ sec it means the baby is in distress. External Dopplers don't pick up the fetal heart rate as well as an internal one. they may have place the internal one so they would have a better idea of the baby's status. then if the decels continued they would have done the episotomy to help the baby to come out. It is a lawsuit that I don't believe she would have a shot in the dark about winning, from reading her birth story.

It doesn't matter what you think, I've developed PTSD from this, and it is ruining my relationship with my husband, and affecting my ability to take care of the house, not to mention the way I feel about myself, my body, and my whole life.

Thanks for your advice, bitch. It isn't my full birth story, you really think I'm about to write a book for you girls on how horrible and disappointing the most important and spiritual moment of my life was?

I forgot to add some things as well. It was a fast and intense delivery I never had time to process my birth experience properly.

Calm down no need for name calling that is why if you read what I posted it said "from reading her birth story." That was how I interpreted what you had said with what the dr's had done. A lot of times there are many things that can go wrong in when a baby is being born. From what you had in your birth story that seems like the standard of care that the drs and nurses are taught to follow.

Why exactly are you so traumatised from the birth? Your labour story sounds like millions of other women who dont scream birth rape

this is what I thought also. I actually assisted with a birth (I was the baby's nurse in the delivery room) where the woman was having a similar delivery from what she had posted in her birth story, these all seemed like normal medical interventions to assist in the birth of a distressed baby.

Yep, it sounded like my first birth. I had an episiotomy without being asked and the vacuum shoved up me twice to get my daughter out. I would never think of suing because at the end of th day she arrived safely and the dr's and midwives did what needed to be done
