Quoting I'm me:" I didn't just google it. I actually had to write a paper on it for my nursing class. I never ... [snip!] ... lead to the decay. I doubt you are getting your 2.5 yr old out of the bed after the mid-night bottle to brush the LO's teeth."
Do they actually say 6-9 months? lol Just wondering. I have 3 kids that were all weaned ofthe bottle before 12 months old. My lo id almost 9.5 months old and weaned herself 2.5 months ago. And my middle was 10 months old when she weaned herself and my oldest was 9 months old when she weaned herself. lol
They were all given sippies at 3 months old, and had them in the day only by 6 months and 1 bottle before nap and bedtime, then just stopped taking the bottles altogether on their own. lol My 9 month old uses straw sippies mostly. lol
But never heard or seen anything from the pedi about 6-9 months startingto wean. interesting. lol
