What does this mean??

posted 13th Nov
So I'm laying on the couch watching How I Met Your Mother (<3) with husband. Baby girl's moving around a bunch like she normally does this time of night and all of the sudden she shifts a lot and I feel her really really low, like in my vag low. This was like 30 minutes ago and I still feel her down there. It's not painful, just a huge amount of pressure. I don't remember having this feeling when I was pregnant with my son.
Anyone else have this feeling towards the end of pregnancy? What does it mean? My doctor's appointment is tomorrow morning so I'll definitely ask him then, just wanted to see if anyone else has felt this before.

I had that feeling the entire time. She was really low. I always felt kicks and punches to the cervix. I didnt have her early.

Your baby just probably shifted positions. It happened to me at 35 weeks except it was painful. My son went from being transverse to head down

I've had the kicks and jabs down there but this is a bit different. It's like one big ball of pressure in my vag. I've never had this kind of pressure so low before!

Sounds like she shifted to the "Locked & Loaded" position lol

What position has she been in recently?

I had that as well around 35 weeks. It freaked me out. I went in and theyvsaid the baby was low, head down and she was engaged. I had pressure in both areas.

Well he didn't check at my last appointment two weeks ago, just checked her heart beat.. but at my appointment 4 weeks ago she was still breach but he said she still had plenty of time to flip. I've been feeling like she's head down lately though. I swear I can feel her butt/back up close to my ribs but I haven't had this kind of pressure before so Idk!

Could be!! Mallory has gone from transverse, to breech to now oblique, all in the past 5-6 weeks. LITERALLY within the past week is when she moved to oblique. So her head is finally down!! But she is still sideways. I have been feeling her butt by my ribs allll day lol it's funny. I go on Friday for an ultrasound to make sure she's moved more "head down" & if not they are going to turn her (or try to).

Hopefully she has shifted!!!

Definitely! I'll be thinking about y'all and hopefully she's turned on her own. JoJo being breach was part of the reason why I had to have a csection.

That was my #1 fear! I do noooot want one. So when she flipped to oblique I was so relieved. However, she could always flip back. HOPEFULLY NOT!! lol

My baby did the same on the Nov at 32 weeks, the pressure comes and goes from what i have read its called lightening where bubs drops into the birthing position, the pain can be from the baby's weight/pressure on nerves in your cervix or you could be slowly dilating which can happen weeks before labour. I also have an appointment with my Dr in the morning I will be getting him to check if its dilation or just nerves.
