Quoting saaraaee:" I really want to do it because i would have a guaranteed job right after graduating from highschool and my parents as well as my boyfriend are very supportive of the decision i make!"You should. Having a job in your field of study, while your going for your RN will make classes a little easier, too. Good luck, with baby and school.

Quoting Brink:"
Quoting Momma +2 Girls:"
Quoting saaraaee:" ... [snip!] ... year. At least in Ohio."
I think it's state is different. I live in Wa and those aren't the rules here."
Quoting Brink:"
Quoting Momma +2 Girls:" I know, was just giving an example, thats ... [snip!] ... Here it has to be renewed every year by your bday (you have 30 days) and even if you haven't worked it can be renewed."Thats nice! I hear a lot of stories of facilities not reporting hours worked so the certification expires. Then you have to retake the entire course and test again. They almost did that to me. They reported that I was working at the facility but didn't update my date of hire so it still showed my initial certification date. I had to call and straighten things out. Would be so much easier if it just went by your birthday!
